Some countries have shown what’s possible when education is rooted in values, not just performance. Finland is a leading example, not because of flashy trends, but because of deep structural priorities: respect for teachers, real nourishment for students, and a system built around development, not obedience.
Meanwhile, we spend more time debating ideology than building solutions. We talk about change, but serve processed lunches and treat students like products on a conveyor belt.
The problem isn’t a lack of examples. It’s a lack of follow-through.
We don’t need more committees. We need courage, integrity, and the will to act.
