We need to stop making excuses for bad character.
If someone feels uncomfortable being called out for dishonesty, cruelty, or hypocrisy, that’s not a problem, that’s a necessary correction.
Accountability is not cruelty. It’s how we protect integrity. It’s how we draw a line between what builds and what corrodes.
When we normalize coddling dysfunction in the name of politeness or tolerance, we don’t look compassionate, we look complicit.
Raising the standard means letting discomfort do its job.
