Cultivating Discernment in a World of Injustice

Cultivating Discernment in a World of Injustice

If conditions are cruel, expose them clearly, factually, and relentlessly. Shine a light, demand accountability, and hold power to its word. But let’s be honest. Equating every injustice to history’s darkest chapters without direct equivalence doesn’t sharpen our case, it blunts it. When we casually invoke the Holocaust or concentration camps, we don’t elevate today’s concerns. We undermine both the truth of the past and the credibility of the present. It becomes harder, not easier, to hold institutions accountable when outrage is inflated rather than grounded. Discernment doesn’t mean turning away from injustice. It means naming it with precision. The moral weight of history is not a prop. It’s a responsibility. If we want to confront cruelty, let’s do it with truth, not theatrics. #Discernment #TruthMatters #HolisticUnited #MoralClarity #JusticeWithIntegrity
